No problem,

More than 700,000 Americans will be lifted out of poverty.

132,000 potential jobs

$5 billion in annual revenue

Rise the min wage and the cost of things go up. We'll be in the same place.

Oh, this again. Depends on what you raise it to. $9-10 an hour is workable. $15 an hour is just plain stupid.

it won't, when minimum wage is raised, companies will raise their prices for the consumers to make up the difference . Minimum wage then wont be enough again and will need to be raised again, making products more expensive again. Its a vicious cycle that will never end.

And you don't think the cost of things will go up then causing us to be in the same spot?

oh honey, at an average 1% cost to retailers and an average 12 cents to us, it won't make much of a difference.

How will raising min wage create jobs?  Before you get mad or whatever, I all about raising it I just don't know how it will create jobs

Min wage has not increased enough to off set rising costs of living. If minimum wage is increased in comparison (to col) poverty levels will decrease.

This.  No matter what people think, the companies will raise prices to cover the cost of raised wages.  Everytime Min wage has been raised, taxes wentup

If the economic activity reaches the estimated 15.2 billion, retailers will need an average of 100k+ employees around the country to keep up :)

This is, of course, an educated economic projection.
