I think its a little strange but if any one has thoughts please let me know.

I dated "John" when I was 14. We were both each others first date. We dated for 3 years and broke up because of his mother babying him. Fast forward 6 years and he calls me all excited that him and his fiance had a baby and he wanted to share with me because I'm still special to him.

It seems so out of the blue

3 years is a long time when you are 14-17. You were his first love. He still thinks of you as an important part of his past.

well i would be very surprised if the guy i dated as a teen called to announce the birth of his child, but that's just me..
