I like gift cards because I know I'll always get something I want.

I think they are a good go to if you don't know what the person likes or wants.

I think gift cards are one of the best gifts you can get. You can get whatever you want rather then someone buying you something you dont want.

Gift cards also save alot of time when you have no idea what someone wants

I think they're a good gift.  My son was very excited to get gift cards this Christmas - scuba store, Taco Bell, Wendys, game stop, movies.  At 15, he's impossible to buy for.  I got gift cards for Amazon, Michaels and several restaurants - love them!

Im a fan. I used to shy away because I thought the recipients would think they were given without much thought but now its what I get all the little ones who we havent seen in over a year. I have no idea what they like or what size they are in or what they have, gift cards just make more sense.

Hate them...most of the time they end up costing you something because otherwise you can't use them for the full value.

I end up taking months (if not years) to use them. In fact I know of at least 3 that I have that are at least 5 or more years old because they are to places I never frequent.

I never like to give them either because all they say I'd."this is his much you are worth to me". Often I can put together a fantastic, thoughtful gift that looks fat more valuable than I actually spent.
