Stop talking about grandbabies FFS!

I'm so sick of people telling me that my son is so handsome and he's going to make me cute grand babies and his interaction with babies means he's going to be a good father.

FFS he's 16 months old, let me enjoy MY baby first

*they say this because he enjoys rocking and feeding baby dolls and loves young babies.

I have never encountered this type of interaction.

You must have some batshit crazy people around you

That's a weird thing to say about a toddler.

That's just weird. I would probably look at people funny if they said that.

That's weird and I've never heard that. Children enjoy pretend play at that age. My 15 mo old likes to pretend he's talking on the phone and carries around his toy dog and cuddle it. I'd just smile and go on with my life.

"Can't you see how sweet he is with the dolls? Fathering is in the blood"

I don't want to think of my kids being parents yet either, but I frequently am asked to babysit my 4 year old's baby doll children.

What irks me is when you know someone who has a kid around the same age as yours and they start talking about their "future daughter/son in law" referring to your toddler. Maybe that's just me though

I've been getting the same thing about my oldest since my middle one was born when she was two. Now I get it about both kids since the third was born. It's weird.
