When I was pregnant I did a lot of bashing on how you all expressed the age of your children. Now I know the reason is because of the large difference between a 13m old and an 18m old.

My bad. Sorry.

I used to think a one year old was a one year old and it was stupid to say your child was 17 months

Yeah.  A lot of non-mom's think that. Now, if it coincides with the year (24 months is 2 years old), then I find it redundent. But, after 2, I think it's redundant.

Eh, it happens. I'm sure no one took you seriously. They probably figured you figure it out soon enough.

I told someone my kid is 2.5 and he's like oh I'm 58 3/4. I was like whaaat? I don't even do months anymore.

I'll always think it's stupid to use months over the age of 1 year.
