Say Wiccan, or Muslim, Christian, and even Pagan? Maybe even Catholic.
How would you feel?

Catholics ARE Christian. Just sayin'.

To teach about their faith? No big.

My eldest attends a private, secular school. I wouldn't have a problem with this.

My middle son is homeschooled. We are devout Catholics, but I plan to teach him ABOUT other faiths (not that we believe them to be "the truth", but about them in general).

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff:  we're Catholic, we're conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee

Yes but they practice many different things that a regular Christian doesn't. Right

I think religious study would make an interesting elective history course. I would have taken such a class.

Edited to add: I consider myself Pagan.

I like it. He should learn all religions and then can decide which, if any, is for him. I am an atheist.

As long as they were teaching facts, I would appreciate it.

I'd love it.
It would go right along with what we teach our kids here at home.
Religion is part of our history and present. I have no problem with my kids learning about the differences in religious beliefs.
I think it should be all or nothing. Teach about every religion or none at all.

It won't bother me. I tell them about other religions all the time. I'd rather they learn as much as they can

Wiccans are pagans just like Catholics are Christian.

I would be happy if my school did a class on world religions.

Religion doesn't belong in the public schools.
