Champagne on New Year's Eve while pregnant??

Do you think it's okay? I'm NOT talking about getting drunk. My DH are having one other couple over for New Year's Eve and they are bringing a bottle of champagne to toast the new year, should I join in for just one glass or stick to my sparkling cider? What would you do?

Just a question, no bashing please!
Btw, I am 36 weeks pregnant

Your obgyn is probably the person to ask. I personally wouldn't.

One small sip isn't going to hurt you, but you might want to have sparkling cider so you can have as much as you want.

Sparkling cider for me. I know one sip or two of champagne is fine, but I would feel guilty.

Get red wine. Drink one glass. It's fine and actually healthy

I didn't do a full glass but I toasted and had a sip on NYE, while pregnant.

My ob told me one small glass to taost the new year was okay. Think I was about 36ish weeks as well when I asked. Although I will add I didn't even finish my glass because I thought it tasted gross. Have fun!

Personally I would go with the cider.

I plan on sticking with cider. No point in risking anything so close to time. We planned on going out for a nice dinner and then coming back for a family game night with my family. :)
