Are you strong and independent?

I am very independent and couldn't imagine not being able to do things without my husband.

I don't need anyone home to have someone come over and do work in/on the house.

I don't need anyone to accompany me to the doctors.

I road trip by myself, and with the kids without anyone else. I'm talk 3-4 states away so far but am willing to go further if the opportunity presented itself.

I don't need DH stuck to my hip at all times, I am capable of being by myself and taking care of the children on my own. We both spend time out without the other.

Maybe it is because we were a military family for a while and I am use to being the decision maker while he was gone but I could never be as codependent as some of you ladies seem to be.

Who is with me? Who here is strong and independent?

Yes.

While I enjoy DH's company, I am fully capable of doing things without him, and many things I prefer to do without him.  Especailly grocery shopping. :-p

I'm like you.

I don't really care how others do it, but I can't imagine being anything but independent.

Wonderful! I've always been this way. I am glad that DH loves that about me.

On somethings I am and others not at all. I had surgery 2 weeks ago today that had complications. I ended up back in surgery that was more invasive a day later and even that surgery had complications. In that case no I was not strong and independent. I was a whimpering crying fool.
