Nope - Fox hunting originated in the British isles.

People in Germany hunt for sport and food.

We jsut have the most liberal gun laws. Some contries actually make you keep firearms locked up t the hunt club.

Its not sport when it helps feed your family.

Pretty sure almost every country in the world hunts either for sport, necessity, or both.

No. It is a sport, but did not originate in America.

Depends on the hunter.  Some are actual hunters, some are just lazy fuckers that go out with a gun.

The question was specific to sport. I would agree that almost every country allows hunting for food.

Look at the Olympics- how many countries have teams for Nordic Biathlon with skiing/shooting, Trap Shooting, Target competitions. In order to make the Olympic team they must learn practicesomewherre, which means the countries have that as a sport.

My neighbor hunts just to hunt and this morning, i talked to him and he told me all about it (yay) and said " it is an American sport, you know? "

That is why I was wondering.
