How important is it?

How important is it that your child use good manners? If he/she doesn't, do you correct right away? Manners are extremely important to me and DS does pretty good with them.

Very important.  My kids use them most of the time, but sometimes I have to remind them.

It was always very important & it shows in the type of adults they are now.

I take it they're well mannered adults?

Quite important. I'm pretty picky but do let things slide at the house from time to time. They know to behve nd use their best manners when we are out  and about.

Yes, they are. And their kids are well mannered also. I'm very proud of my kids. :)

I never made a huge deal about them, I did lead by example though and am always told how polite they are so I did something right.

Yes, very important to me. I do correct right away, but Dd is 10 and Ds is 14. I don't really have to "correct" anymore. I do have to correct my Ds from time to time.
