I love them. But, Im the only one in the house who will eat them. So, I usually buy 2 or 3 and fry them up and eat it all myself.  My guilty pleasure :)

Not sure what to compare it to? A fried banana. I sprinkle a little sugar on top right after I cook it.

They look sort of like bananas so that would make sense. Maybe I will give them a whirl. I am looking to expand my foods recently. Are they healthy?

I peel it, slice it lengthwise, then into 3.  Then just fry them in oil or butter.  I sprinkle it with a little sugar after its cooked and eat :)  They are VERY filling though.

The oil I fry it in probably isn't too healthy but the plaintains itself Im sure has vitamins and such. I'm always low on potassium, so probably why I always crave them.  They are very inexpensive and filling too.
