I left my dh earler this year. We had alot of problems. We both have anger issues. Well I met a guy, "Thought" i fell in love and even though I am still legally married I cheated. I had a relationship for a few months. I was so stupid. I was not thinkng. I was honest with my ex and he says he can never forgive me. I don't blame him. Im more mad at myself then him. Ugh. I have never hated myself so much. Advice and comfort please. I have been verbally bashed all day (I deserve it) and I know there is no way to un-do this type of wrong. FML

You left him. Were you working on getting back together or were you going to get a divorce?

You can't change the past, so let it go and move forward.

1 mom liked this

But you weren't with your ex anymore. So you really didn't cheat and your Ex has no right to be angry with you. Sure you were still "legally" married to him but emotionally you weren't and you weren't living with him. To me it sounds like you weren't together!

Can I ask you a question? You don't have to answer.... Do you really want your dh back or are you sad/mad/scared because you're facing being alone? Leaving a marriage is much easier when you go directly into the arms of another. When you are actually alone, reality sets in.
