We were at a nice restaurant tonight and DS (6) was fucking around with his fork and knife. I glared at him and reminded him of his manners. Our food came. He had roasted chicken breast and creamed spinach and mash potatoes. Guess who dropped his fork? Yup. I made him eat with his hands. He was so embarrassed and he was a mess. I bet you he never acts like a fool in a restaurant again.

Define "nice restaurant? " Because that's not the place I would pick to make that kind of point out of consideration for the other guests.

Sounds classy, especially for a "nice restaurant"

He didn't see anything. That makes no sense. It's called consequences. He wants to act like a fool and embarrass the whole family, then he can see how it feels.

Our booth was private. No one else could see us. We were at Ruth Chris.
