Hot flashes at 40?

Sitting here just now...got very hot up my neck and on my torso. Feels a bit like heat radiating from under my clothing...lasted about 1 minute or so.   Sound like a hot flash?

It could be.  Do you have any new meds you are taking?

Perimenopause can start this early.

I'm only 37 and this happens to me all the time...my periods aren't regular at all...terrible mood swings...My doc says it can't be the change but I'm sure he's full of shit

Well, enjoy the next 18 years.  Just as long as raising a child.  I do not know which one was the worse.

I have been getting them since I was 32. I'm 40 now & they're worse than ever. I really hate the night sweats. Sweating, yet freezing. So fun :(

shit meno pause doesnt just hit like that. I been pre meno pausing for over a year... Mostly sweating in bed... I have always been cold. Then again it could be I keep getting fatter...

Sounds like it. I have them every time my endometriosis flares up. During the winter they're great.
