So I went in today because I had a lot of cramping and I'm 6 months with twins. They did a bunch of tests and I have bv, write me a script and sent me on my way. They had a hard time finding heart beats because they wouldn't stop moving so they did it a sonogram. Well the faculty doc just called to say that I was supposed to have a non stress test because they should've been able to find the heartbeats that way and its an extra precaution. They want me back tonight or tomorrow. Would you go even though they did a sono and babies are still active??

Edit: thanks ladies! I will be going in tomorrow morning as hubby is working and other babies are already in bed!

Yes. Not worth the risk and I always follow a medical professionals recommendation.

I'd go. But I'm a worrier so that's just me.

Yes I would. But I lost my twins so I don't fuck around.

Could you forgive yourself if you found out later that something was wrong?

Because she said it wasn't an emergency and its up to me, just her recommendation. I'm just confused on why the sono wasn't good enough

No. I wouldn't. You've seen them. They're fine. It's just a liability thing. I wouldn't expose them to any more radiation.
