Would you encourage your child to have sex before marriage?

Not for shallow reasons, for example; to see if they're good in bed or if they have a nice package.
Would you encourage them to have sex so they don't build the reason for their marriage around sex? This is assuming that they are waiting for sex until marriage.

Sex is something people should learn about together. Having said that I can't say I would encourage anything but for my children to find someone that makes them happy. Unless my child consults me I don't believe a parent should be telling an adult child advice on sex other than to stay safe and not have kids

No, I will teach them safe sex and that is up to them on if they want to before marriage or not.

I would never encourage sex to my children, regardless of what age they are. I will talk to them and teach them about safe sex and all, but to encourage them to go out and do it? Never.

No way. If they want to wait, more power to them!

No, I don't encourage it.  I don't discourage it either.  Well I discourage it for my 14 year old lol.  I just let them know the advantages to waiting untill marriage, and also waiting till they are adults and in committed relationships

I would.

And I don't the reason you call shallow are shallow at all.

Knowing how you connect with someone sexually is pretty important.

I would have encouraged him to use common sense and his best judgment. If he decided that is what he wanted to do, then he damn well better have practiced safe sex.
