Stop feeding her solids for awhile. Constipation is a sign that her digestive system is just not ready yet. In the meantime you could give her an ounce or two of pear juice or prune juice to help get her to go.

Started with oatmeal. She did great with that for a wk then started green beans, sweet potatoes, applesauce. I mixed those with her oatmeal & bm. She only gets solids once a day. Bm all other feedings. I have prunes and can try those in 2days. But poor baby hasn't pooped in since yesterday early morning. She normally poos 3x's a day.

Some babies just have a slow regular, Hendrix had this problem too. I would stop doing solids for a while, but when you start up again, give smaller amounts, only do it after they've already eaten their milk, and make sure they drink a little water after each feeding. My sons 10 months old now and he just has a sippy he drinks out of throughout the day.

It's not necessarily constipation. Not all babies poo every day, especially with a diet change. I do agree though with backing off a bit on the solids for a bit though, baby is still a bit young.

Your dd is too young for solids. Stop giving solids and give her a little bit of water.
