I deal with the IRS on a regular basis. You can easily wait over an hour.

Dell will let you sit on hold for 69 minutes before they automatically disconnect the call.  real nice, assholes.

One hour, forty five minutes during us cellulars system switch over last summer. I am not with them anymore...lol

Holy crap. I would lose my pooh. God help the poor cs person who gets the call after I was hung up on. Lol

Not me personally but my ex would wait close to two hours when he had to call to get movement when he was on house arrest.

One hour 30 mins. had to hang up because i had somewhere to be. im about to call my insurance..lord knows how long ill be waitig. dreading it.

I tend to give up after 15-20minutes I just can't stay focused any longer with two toddlers lol

My work doesn't have hold music and people are constantly hanging up and calling back a minute after they are put on hold because they think we hung up on them. Then I get told I'm rude if I warn them there isn't hold music after the second or third call since by that time I recognize their voice. It's frustrating.
