S/O car seats in shopping carts

Are these things not the norm everywhere?

Just curious because I haven't seen a store without a few of these in... about a decade. I have also never seen anyone use a car seat in a shopping cart so it has me wondering.

My target has them.  However they really don't work for bigger babies.  i think the age limit is like 12 months.

and after that they really shouldn't be in an infant carrier anyway.

Yeah but then they just sit on the regular trolley seat?

I would never put my baby in something that gross.

A plastic seat that can be wiped down with baby wipes? Chances are your carseat harbours more bacteria.

I bring in her carseat, and once she is old enough she can sit up in the cart. I don't trust those.

Our stores here in town have those. I never used them though because i would just bring the whole carseat in.

I have 3 kids and no time, my daughter goes up on the shopping cart, I have never tipped a cart and will never tip one.  Oh and I wipe the cart down before I put my seat up there... so tired of people freaking out over stupid shit...
