horrible heartburn and no otc meds....what can i use??

the title pretty much explains it......i cant go get anything either SO is at work with the car and I have 3 kids here asleep. i dont have any otc meds that would help...just tylenol and kids cough syrup....anything around the kitchen i could possibly use?

Drink some milk,that will help.

When I'm out of heartburn meds, I also try milk. It helps some, defintiely better than nothing.

Lots of water or if you're desperate enough side walk chalk.

1/2 teaspoon baking soda in a glass of cold water. Drink it down. Tastes awful, but works.

If you have apple cider vinegar use that. Otherwise white will work fine.

If you have any whole cumin seeds and a tea strainer, you can make a tea of cumin seeds. Steep them in hot water for 8-10 min, sweeten to taste with honey.

You can also make tea with fresh ginger or mint leaves to help an upset stomach and heartburn.

cant decide which sounds worse, this or the vinegar lol but ima try em all...starting with the milk
