Baby's Heartbeat

Both of my boy's heartbeat were in the 150 to 170s.

I was shocked when they told me this baby's heartbeat is in the 130s! What was your baby's heartbeat and the gender?

*** I know the heartbeat cannot predict gender. I am just curious!

That theory is not a valid way of telling gender, just so you know. . . . . it's been dis-proven.

It actually scared me because it was so slow but they said it was normal.

Oh, I know. I am just curious. LOL!

I do have a gut feeling it is a girl but I would be happy with another boy.

my babies was 148 and it was a girl.   heartbeat has nothing to do with gender.  It's a wives tale...just like telling what it is but the way you are carrying...

If you're less than 10-11 weeks it seems low because most all first tri heartbeats are above 150.. But it's still not abnormally low.

I've had all girls. My first two were up in the 160s, my youngest was 130-140s.
