Watching one of my favorite Pixar movies, Cars, and I so love this song, brings a tear to my eye everytime i hear it because it's so true. It may not mean a lot to some of you, but to the ones thta have lived in a small town and have gone through the town dying, you'll know what I mean.

This song represents Anderson, IN to a tee.

It was built on factories and mills and prospered for many years. Then in the 90s the factories closed, jobs left, and so did the businesses. The town is pretty much dead now.

They keep trying to breathe life into it with the casino but it's not enough.

I was born and raised there. My family still lives there. We had to leave. There is no future left there and I needed to get my kids out.

This song makes me cry too.

I remember reading an interesting article about the city. In the early 1900's the residents of the town basically wasted resources which was basically the beginning of the end.

Quoting Krysta784: This song represents Anderson, IN to a tee.
