Am I the only one who does this?

My SIL says I am the only one and it is gross b/c my kids are always eating leftovers.

If I make pancakes on a Sunday morning, I make a double batch and freeze in 4s so they can have them for breakfasts. The same with French Toast.

If I am making meatloaf, meatballs I make double and freeze one.

If we don't finish a casserole or mac and cheese I freeze the other 1/2 for another meal.

I could go on, I do this all the time when I cook, I have cooked rice, crab cakes, chicken, steak, greens,  cookies in my freezer, just for days that I don't feel like cooking.

The kids know if they want something chances are it is in the freezer.

Nope. I do it.
Not gross.

I fail to see a problem with eating leftovers :)

No not the only one and I know a lot of others who do it too! Tell your SIL to shut up she doesn't know what she is talking about.

I cook many meals the first two days of the month and freeze them all so I guess we eat leftovers for dinner all month.

I don't see how that's gross what so ever.

I don't do it because I wouldn't know how long it will last and I'm always scared to eat bad food because I have ibs :-(.

But it's not gross, it's smart! :-)

I always make extra pancakes to freeze when I do them. Makes it so much easier through the week. They might taste a little different but they are still good heated up.
