I am getting my iud removed. What can I expect?

How long and hard will should I expect to bleed?

How long did it take you to get pregnant after removal?

Took 5 minutes.  Got in, legs in stirrups.  He went in, found the cord, pulled it out.

Little bit of blood right after.  Nothing long term--done within an hour or 2 of the removal.

Can't answer the pregnant part.  Got fixed a month later.

Depends on person. I didn't bleed from the removal, but my first period after going off mirena, I ended up in ER from hemmoraging (from hormone fluctuating)

My Paragard IUD came out on it's own during my LMP with no pain (Other than emotional, 'cause damnit was all I kept thinking), so I don't expect it hurts when the doctor takes it out, but I'm not sure. I finished my period the following day, so there was no "extra" bleeding when it came out that I noticed, and I got pregnant when I ovulated, now 5 weeks.

It might cramp a tiny bit. I don't remember any real pain. I don't think I bled for more than a day, just spotting. I was pregnant within a month:)
