They skate every Friday. We bowl together at least once a month.

We rent bowling shoes but I, err the Easter Bunny, found skates that expand in size at Target.  We were skating once a week (need to do that again).

My kids always have their own skates.

DH is always after me to hit up the thrift store for sneakers for the boys.

Ummm, have you seen the reason we need to buy sneakers?  And do you think all boys are gentle on shoes?

I have had luck with dress shoes but I figure most boys only wear them once or twice before outgrowing them.

That is what I buy. My oldest two are in need of new ones. Little Bit is good still.
