Question about dreaming?

For the past month or so I've been waking up at night and going to sleep in our guest bedroom because our DS 9 has been having bad nightmares so we've allowed him to sleep with us for the time being. well 3 of us in a queen bed is not comfortable at all so ive been in the guest room. Since sleeping in the guest room, I have been dreaming every single night that I have been in there(and remembering the dreams). A few nights ago, DS fell asleep on the couch so we put him in his own room and I slept in the normal bed. Didn't have a dream or didn't remember it.

Does the fact that I am/am not dreaming have anything to do with how well I am sleeping? I am comfortable in both beds. Just curious if it means I am getting better sleep in one or the other

Not positive but I thought the deeper you sleep the less dreams you will have...
