Anyone's baby cry with gas at night?

My baby is new only one month old. She had gas at night so bad she cries. She didn't wake up last night just cried in her sleep a RW times with gas, tips?

lay down and lay her on your chest with her knees up to her chest. I don't remember at what age you can give "gas drops". We used it a lot.

  • 1 burp doesnt mean she still isnt gassy--keep trying to burp her another 5 minutes after the first one
  • rub her belly counterclockwise to get the gas moving
  • bicycle her legs
  • alter your diet if you are breastfeeding reducing gas causing foods/drinks from your diet
  • change the formula depending, which brand you are using--mine had horrible gas when I gave her Similac
  • Mylicon as a last resort
  • gripe water as a possibility
  • issue may not be gas but colic--try different soothing methods to calm her.
