I just got a call from a random hospital. Apparently my mother needs a home.

I haven't spoken to her in 10 yrs.  Apparently they got my number from my aunt.  This woman never took care of me as a child, never bothered to stay in contact with me as an adult and has never even met any of her 4 grandkids between my sister and I, by her own choice.

And now I get a call saying she needs a home?  Oh well.  Better start calling some old folk's homes.

Remember when I had to go begging to the neighbors because I was cold and hungry after you left for 5 days, didn't leave any food, didn't pay the power bill and the furnace had no oil because you wouldn't buy any?  Instead you used the money to go play with your boyfriend and do god knows what and where.

Well, pay back is a bitch isn't it mother?

I know the group homes I lived in were a special kind of hell.  I hope the homes you are now going to be sent to are just as good.

yup.  I am a little disturbed by how good it feels.  That can't be good.

I can't say I blame you all that much. She sounds like a sorry excuse for a person.

Better she should be in a "bring your own sheets"-type facility than with a daughter who hates her.

She sure dodged a bullet there.

Sorry, but i completely understand your choice. Sucks for her. Maybe she should have been a better mom.

Karma can be wonderful. She doesn't deserve your love and hospitality.
