and keep coming up with stupid excuses not to when my baby comes!
A huge part of me wants the experience...

A huge part of me is also terrified to!

I really don't know why I have so much anxiety about this!

What's the worse that can happen?

Trust me, the feeling and emotions you get when you look down at your baby nursing is so worth it!

Then don't do it.

I was scared at first as well! However, once you get the hang of it it's a fantastic experience. Sign up for a breast feeding class and find a certified lactation consultant for support. Most hospitals will provide one for you. Good luck!

I also forgot to add that if it doesn't work out don't beat yourself up! Luckily, only a small percentage of women can't breast feed so your odds are good.

I wonder why? What is there to be scared of?
It is a great experience you should try it out and see if it's for you

Tell yourself you will try 3 times. If you can't stand it after that then at least you really tried.

My modesty got the best of me. I hated having to feel half naked, even at home.

What are you anxious about?  It's hard to offer any advice when I don't know what you are scared of!

The worst that can happen is that you dont end up doing it. Shouldnt be a big deal! If the nurses messing with your boobs or whatever makes you uncomfortable, dont be afraid to be firm and tell them to step out. I absolutely hated that mess!

I was nervous too the first time, but then I saw the price of formula. That was enough to make me at least give breast feeding a shot. I ended up breast feeding all three of my kids.
