So I posted an ad looking for house cleaning jobs. I got a response for someone looking for a tech savvy person for an at home job.

I thought it migh be a scam but I replied that I was in fact tech savvy.

Well the job didn't sound like a scam. All you have to do is post ads on Craigslist for houses to rent. The pay is $100 a week for posting 20ish ads.

It still sounds off, but what do I risk? It only takes a few minutes to post ads. It's not like it going to cost me money. It also doesn't sound illegal.

But is this a scam?

I don't know but if it only takes a few minutes to post the ads why pay someone that much to do it instead of doing it yourself

It is scamming and they're making you an accomplice to a crime to get peoples personal information. Then around pay time they will ask for your personal info and scam you.

Oh yes. That is the biggest scam on CL right now! They steal pics from realtors websites and make fake rental listings. I've heard about it from friends who rent out houses.
