Is that weird? Does it really affect the resturaunt. I don't ask for the kids drink or dessert. And I too well.....

It's smaller portions (healthier) plus I love chicken strips and fries!!

I was in a restaurant one time and it said on the menu that there would be an extra dollar or two added to the bill for adults ordering from the kids menu.

Why would it effect the restaurant?

You could be eating somewhere else and they don't get ANY money from you. lol

I wouldn't mind that. Depending on the prices

I have no idea why.  This post just made me think of it.

Why would it affect the restaurant.
It may affect the tip since it's cheaper.

I don't because I would still be hungry. If I'm paying someone else to cook food for me I want my moneys worth. I always cook at home though.

I don't know, don't most kids menus have a 12 year age limit???

I thought the did..... I know some restaurants do...

But if they serve it to you why would anyone have an issue with it?

I personally wouldn't because a lot of family restaurants save money on kids menus by buying frozen foods and just heating them up... I can do that for a third of the price at home with little to no effort...

I worked at a restaurant that did that because adults would order off the kid's menu so they could get free ice cream and a drink. They could either go without the free stuff or pay a couple extra dollars.
