I am almost 30 (TMI)

I will be 30 in April, and I think I am experiencing my first yeast infection.

I am on streiods and antibitoics. I am miserable .

My appointment is tomorrow afternoon, I feel a little silly for calling for that because I am sure they will just suggest some OTC treatment, but I guess I just want to be sure that's what I am dealing with.

I am sorry to each and everyone of you who have had to deal with this!!

I'm still having PP bleeding and the smell makes me gag. Placenta smells AWFUL.

Our poor vaginas. :(

I think they make test strips for that. Not sure though. I do know they sell monistat, get some of that.

They suck. Hopefully they will give you the pill prescription for it. Works like a charm for me, I usually get them when I'm on antibiotics.

You can get a test from the store that will tell you, but honestly I'd just do something about it today. If you are that uncomfortable, and on antibiotics then that is probably what it is. You can go the PLAIN yogurt route, it should have acidophilus in it. Sorry if I spelled that wrong, but it's something like that.

I always got them over the years and used the OTC meds for them.  They work well.  Your doctor can tell you for sure if you definitely have one.  I will say that when I started eating yogurt daily, it helped a lot.

Ohh that sucks. The only time I ever had a yeast infection is when I was pregnant and they put me on antibiotics. It felt like my vagina was falling out. I felt so stupid when they told me it was just a yeast infection. They suck big fat ass.

I will be 30 tomorrow.  I am thankful I have never had a yeast infection.  I have heard they can be pretty uncomfortable.
