When I was a Teenager in late 80s and early 90s -

I bought $20 CD'S from k' s merchandise and the mall (  waste of money )

I ate food from hardees and McDonald's and didn't gain a pound.

I was a size 6 .  Well not now :)   Hahaha LOL

I had my hair colored platinum blonde like Marilyn Monroe ( parents were mad).

I only knew 1 girl in high school that was pregnant at 16.  ( not me ) .

I became pregnant at 19 . I was much older than her .

How about you ?

Well, I was a teen for the duration of the 80's.
We didn't have CDs, I bought records and later on, tapes.
McDonalds didn't have many outlets in Melbourne then, take away of choice was fish n chips. There were specific areas you could go to if you wanted pizza or Chinese.
I had a terrible perm.
I went to a religious all girls school, there were a number of pregnancies (me being one of them) we all used the same medical clinic that had a secret abortion service if you went through the back entrance.

1 mom liked this

I was a teen in the 80's.  I did not know of a single pregnant student at our highschool (1600 students).  I lived on coke, snickers, munchos, doritos, and hostess cherry or apple pies.  I ALWAYS weighed 128.  Cable tv was called that because there was a CABLE that ran from the tv to the "box" where you changed the channel.

I turned 13 in 2002.  I was slightly overweight.  Most of the cds I bought came from walmart and were $15.  My hair was its natural color most of the time but when I did dye it was always red.  I knew a girl in 8th grade who was pregnant.  I got pregnant my senior year and I was 18.

“Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild. So you let them go, or when you open the cage to feed them they somehow fly out past you. And the part of you that knows it was wrong to imprison them in the first place rejoices, but still, the place where you live is that much more drab and empty for their departure.”

Graduated high school in 84.  There was one pregnant girl in our all-girl strict Catholic school.  I had a cassette player in my car.  I loved the Double R Bar Burger from Roy Rogers.  I lived on macaroni and cheese and Tab (anyone remember Tab?  it was the only thing in school the girls would drink).  I was so skinny I had teachers ask me if I had an eating disorder (those were the days--now I gain 5 pounds if a take a deep breath in the bakery...)

When I was a teenager in the 80's and 90's

I loved the NKOTB

I would eat jr bacon cheeseburger with my mom,

I was a good too shoes

We had an early release day and some of my friends went to eat lunch at wendy's I took my bag lunch and ate with them. Got in trouble because my brother went home right after school.

The high school I graduated from had a daycare in it for the students that had kids.
