I hate that my husband is in the army! I miss him like freakin crazy, ughhh..I've been a mess all night. I just want to be in his arms.

I can't get him off my mind no matter what. I want him home. I hate this so much..

Sorry just needed to vent... anyone that went through this please tell me how you over came it.

is this your first deployment? there's a military moms group here, and they have the anon option there if that's a concern. maybe they can give you some support. I've never been in your position. I may be soon, it's still undecided at the moment.

Just got done with our first deployment a few months ago. I understand, it feels like it's dragging and I'm so sorry you're going through this and having a rough time. Just look at the time that has passed, have yourself a cry if you need it, call a friend or just listen to music and let it all out. Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day and I'll keep you and your family in my thoughts.

And don't count down the days. It drags it out.

Distract yourself. DO NOT read military news. It just makes you freak if they are in a bad area. Go volunteer, check into deployed spouses groups like Hearts Apart, talk to the key spouse and see if there are benefits like free classes, free child care etc that you can take advantage of.
