Every time I say anything at all to dh he throws it in my face that he is the only one working and paying the bills...how do I get him to understand that it really hurts me and it's not ok?

More information....I use to be a nurse, when our youngest (7) was born very ill and had many health issues (still does) we decided together it would be best for me to give up my career and stay home and care for her and of course the other kids and the house...for the past year I have been looking for a job and there is very little out there where I live and even harder that I need to work around appointments with specialist and what not

Sounds like he is frustrated an taking it out on you, sit down an have a heart to heart & resolve this.

Counseling maybe? Sounds like he has some resentment built up. That's a hard thing to get past in a relationship.

He don't believe in counseling....he has no reason to have resentment he got to keep his career just like he wanted to...I gave mine up like he asked me to

Have you considered writting him a letter ? Then you can say everything without it turning into a fight.
