My dd is invited to her best friend's birthday party. She's turning 10. The kid loves horses. Every birthday party is at the stables. She takes lesson. Rides every weekend. Dd asked her what she wants for her birthday...she said "anything as long as it's got a horse on it"
Dd, my mom and I were in Target earlier when dd saw this horse bank. My dd is a collector of banks. She wanted it for her bff. So we got it. The whole way home my mom complained that no kid wants a bank for their birthday, that we should have gotten a toy. I ignored her because my kid is so excited about it. Saying that she found the perfect present.
My question...would your kid be upset to get a bank for their birthday? Is it the worst present ever for a 10 yr old like my mom thinks? (I'm pretty sure bff will like it because it's a horse)
*disclaimer* before I'm "busted" yes the pic is from google images but only because I don't feel like getting out of bed to take an actual pic of it myself
