He wants me to sleep in the other bed??? Are you freaking kidding me?
I can't believe he had the nerve to ask me to sleep in the other bed. I understand that they aren't the biggest beds. But dang. That was just rude! To save a fight I turned the lights off and slept alone. Well tried to sleep I stayed up most of the night since I couldn't sleep. He passed out. Smh...

If it was just DH and I in a room I would want to sleep alone in a double bed too

I would have jumped at the chance to have the bed to myself. I don't see the issue.

I don't even share my king sized bed. I could never share a double!

Seperate double beds would be awesome.

Seperate twins not so much, we did that on a recent getaway in the Mts and those twin beds are just too damned small!

We love hotel king beds, we sleep in a queen so when we go away to a king its like living on our own islands.

Then again we aren't siamese sleepers, we like our own blankets and space.

Those beds are so uncomfortable as it is, can't say I blame him.

Eh, hubby and I just spent the entire weekend in separate bed because of this exact reason. I would much rather sleep alone than have to share a double bed with him, we sleep in a king at home.

Hubby and I do the same thing when we're on vacation--I just make sure he gets the one with the wet spot :)

I guess I had an issue because it's the only chance I get to sleep close to him. Our beds at home are two twin beds pushed together and we have are own sides and blankets. So when we have a chance to sleep in a bed and share blankets ... Kinda nice for cuddling.

I wouldn't have done it. He can sleep on the floor if sharing a bed is so damn miserable. The only time dh and I have sleep in the same vicinity but not "together" is when we're camping. We backpack and hammock camp.
