Mom Confessions Mom Confessions

I reached out to her and she shut me down. ETA

I sent bm a fb message and friend request. Our first time meeting didn't go well (her fault. She freaked out on me for no reason.) so I sent her a message reaching out to her and letting her know we should have a good relationship for our children's sake.

Still no response. But I can see she has been online. We have mutual friends so I have seen her comment on stuff.

It's been two days. I'm trying to reach out and be friendly and I just am running put of ideas.

Eta for those of you saying to leave her alone. Dh and I have been married 4 years, together for 5. I had nothing to do with their breakup. Sd spends 50% of her time here. I think it's important for us to be able to communicate.

Leave her be.  It doesn't sound like she has any interest in dealing with you, at least not at this time.

bm?  are you adopting her child or is she the mother of your husband's (other) children?  If so, were you involved in any way of the demise of her marriage?

Maybe. That's pretty childish though
