I have a beautiful hardwood floor in my dinning room. The cleaner that I had been using to clean it has left a residue on it. I have Murphy's Oil soap and I have Pledge, which one would you use to clean the residue?

Pledge... Isn't that the furniture polisher stuff to make wood furniture shiny?

Yes, I figured the floor is a finished floor so it would bring the shine back to it

Use distilled vinegar diluted with warm water and a drop or two of dish soap to remove the residue.

This will make your floor very slippery

Real wood? I always used Murphys on mine. Works great. Only use pledge if you are planning some sort of falling down on your ass competition. That stuff is slippery.
