only idiots have babies 18 months apart

Not really. Actually I'm so jealous right now of those women with babies so close in age. But a combination of some life circumstances and now trying to conceive issues means our baby will now be at least 3 years younger than our first, maybe more.

So tell me why you're glad your babies are further apart. Advantages! So I don't feel so depressed. My SIL is having babies 15 months apart and I'm kind of jealous. :(

We waited so we could better our life/ situation. He is almost 6. I regret it. Wish we would have had 1. When he was younger.

I'm sorry the age gap didn't work out as nicely as you wanted. :( Though this is not making me feel any less depressed about not being able to conceive right now :( Will you have more or are you done?

Sorry. I came in here to tell you how great having babies 12 months apart is.

I'm sure having them 3 years apart will be great too.

My youngest 2 are 17months apart, while my oldest 2 are 3.5yrs apart. I think their are pros and cons to both. I think my first two were a little to far apart, but I also feel that my two youngest are to close together.

Glad it worked out so well for you! We couldn't have them that close b/c of a deployment and then reacquianting first baby with daddy and then now trying to conceive issues.

Im kind of in the same boat ... Ive always wanted kids close in age but i guess thats not gonna happen. My first is going to be 1 next month and i had a csection and complications with her and still have pain till now so ill still have to wait for another baby since if i have kids too soon it will be risky for both me and baby. i dont know how much time ill have to wait :(

Not having two kids in diapers at once! Some can do it. I definitely can't.
