We have severe wind chills out tonight through tomorrow morning with wind chills we are looking at -30 out...so anyways I was telling Dh if it's that cold in the morning I will be giving our oldest a ride to the bus stop and waiting with him (he has to leave house at 6:25 and the bus comes anywhere from 6:30-6:50) Dh got pissed cause that means waking up my 10 and 7 year old at 6:20 to hop in the car...I told him since he wasn't here in the morning it didnt effect him in anyway so I didn't see the big deal he got pissed and hung up on me...

Would you do the same for your child? Our oldest is 14 in 9th grade...the other two I drive back and fourth every day

Edit...I have to wake them up because I won't leave them home alone and my 10 year old is very very immature for his age

I can't drive my oldest because his high school is in another town 30 minutes away...
My youngest has health issues and I am to scared to leave her without an adult

I don't see the big issue, it just means there's time for a hot breakfast before school for the younger ones, right?

I think he is making a big deal out of nothing, but I am still confused why the younger two have to get up. LOL!

Maybe he needs a man-pon? PMS...

Oh. My 10 year old is home alone before and after school. Shrugs.

I feel at 10 and 7 they are to young to be left alone while I am gone for possibly 20minutes about a block from my house

I do these kinds of things too. It's cold out. I used to drive my high school ds to the bus and if my infant woke up I had to bring her crying.
