And refuse to find work IF your husband/boyfriend/fiancé/partner could no longer Afford to provide for the family on just his income

ETA: This includes having to get on PA, rather than getting a Job to supplement the income

How does that even work? No problems here because I married a real man who unless he was unable to always provides. If something happened to him then of course I'd do what needed to be done.

You think all SAHMs are pathetic?

Quoting Anonymous:

You could have left it at the subject and I'd agree with you. The title with the post? Obviously.

I agree.

If a household cant make it on one income there needs to be TWO incomes.

Some women are just that way. I used to work at a gas station, and we had this woman that would come in once a week, fill up the tank, and play lottery tickets until she was pretty much broke. She would spend a good bit of money, and all of us girls working up there thought she had a damn good paying job.

Nope!

She told me one day that she had never worked a day in her life because she didn't want too, and her husband got SSI. She would spend his money, even though she was able to work.

RELATIONSHIPS are a team effort.

Quoting Anonymous: Yes. Marriage should be a team effort.

My best friend is married to a very real man who stays at home with the kids.

How bout a guy who refuses to stay at home to watch the kids while the woman brings home the bacon?
