I am making sure my boys know how to fend for themselves and not be dependant on women I thier lives to always do the cooking. At first my 15yo ds was very resistant and now he really enjoys it.

Yes, they've been learning to cook since they were probably about three. They love cooking.

My son has been in the kitchen since he was a baby :). My husband loves to cook and it's their bonding time.

Yep. All 3 of my boys can make decent meals (11, 9 and 7) They are fantastic at omeletes LOL.

My boys are more handy and interesting in cooking than my DD. Occasionally it's a disaster, but oh well. They are learning and that's what they're doing.

My son is 14 and can cook several things and likes it.  He's also a hunter and marinates venison and grills it for everyone.  I think it's great for boys to cook!  My husband can barely boil water.

My son has been helping with kitchen tasks since he was 2. As he grows, I fully expect to expand the lessons. Both of my parents were wonderful cooks and my husband and I share a passion for exploring new foods... so teaching our son was just a natural thing to do. I dated men who could barely bake a frozen pizza and I would hate to see my son end up like that.

Yes. My dad taught me. He is the better cook.
