Flaky friends, got any?

Seems when they do commit to plans, they always cancel or ditch out. I don't have many, so I guess I put up with it. I just want to have some adult time every now and then. Just say fuck off, then I won't get my hopes up,

There's one couple in our circle of friends like that. We all kind of just expect them not to come, then we're pleasantly surprised when they do.

I think all my friends are flaky. They never commit, they're nonchalant about going out, even to free places, and they'd rather stay in and get fat than go workout or walk the park while our kids play. I don't know how we even became friends because they never hang out

But I love her to death anyway

I made a post just like this about 2 years ago. I dropped that flake and never looked back. I saw her recently and the poor flakey ex-friend seemed so lonely. Don't waste your time with people who are that disrespectful, they are not real friends.

Essentially i do. I stop asking to hang out, then it comes back up. I can see her/their house from mine. I could throw a rock and hit their house. They just alway say yes then come up with excuses. I try not to waste time. But I'm sad and have been unable to find other friends.
