Thinking about doing child care in my home. It would be myself my mother and my sister. Any feedback on what you would want for care for your child would be appreciated. Also cost suggestions as well. I'm in California, and where to start. Thank you.

Maybe just do a search on it "Starting a child care business" or "starting a child care business in CA"

There are probably permits you have to look into, laws, etc.

Look at what you need to do legal wise. Sit down and think about what ages you want, if you'll do 'lessons', menus, etc. If you take school aged children, put a homework policy in place! I just started helping at an in home daycare and the lady running it is having an issue with a parent wantin her to do homework with the parent's child. This is despite having like 13 other children, most 3 and under and only one other helper.
