Will you please stop saying that we don't have the equipment to handle the up coming weather and making a big deal out of this. No we may not have snow plows but when you only get a few inches every 4-5 years we dont need it. We do however have a place called TxDot and if you watch the news you would know that they will be out salting or doing whatever they do to the roads to prevent snow/ice from sticking to it. If everyone shuts down its not because we're not prepared its because of everyone freaking the hell out over a little snow and ice. Clam the hell down and place just stay home so those that do have to go to work or are at work and will be out in the weather that is coming are safe from the people that dont know how to drive in it and that are freaking out.

Yeah, me too. I drove home from work in white out near blizzard conditions less than a week ago. A bit of sliding, and it was slow going, but we did fine.

Texas. Full of assholes with small penises who make up for it with their giant trucks.

Yeah. The 30 trucks the entire state has is clearly enough to cover the roads of a metroplex with 6.5 million people.

Earlier in the season (November?) we had a crazy storm. I woke to a foot of snow, unplowed. I had to be to work at 5am. Plows weren't out yet. I could drive a little ways, get out, shovel my car out, drive some more... I drive a VW Jetta, it's not high up enough to clear a foot of snow. But, I still tried. LOL
Just another day, ya know?
