Love or comfort ?

I still catch myself wondering which is which. Sometimes I truly love him and other times I'm just too comfortable to leave and "meet" someone new. Everything works great.. bills are paid. . Children are Healthy and beautiful.. but there's just something missing. (Not physical either- that department is still amazing)

Love. If I felt like my life was missing something with him I would talk it out and counsel. If that failed I would probably divorce. I will not stay for "comfort". I expect more from a marriage.

1 mom liked this

I love him very much, but I am not in love with him. Don't think I ever have been. I enjoy being around him, he is my best friend, my companion, the one I actively choose to spend the rest of my life with, but no I am not in love with him. Not in the same way I was my first husband. It's very two out of three ain't bad.

I absolutely love him. Yes, we're comfortable as well ... but I believe that is part of what helps us love eachother even more.

Both for me.

Our love is comfortable, but that's a good thing!

After 11 years we still respect each other and laugh with each other and enjoy each other's company. We have a wonderful sex life (quality over quantity at the moment though), and are best friends. I can't imagine that there would be anyone out there better suited to me.
