Ugh. IDK whether to say kids or home. I was gonna say kids, but IDK how the actual numbers break down. then again we did buy our house for the children after all.

My kids cost the most , for sure. That is why I would not have kids if I was really poor.

I want my son to have the life that was not possible for me. One of the reasons was a crappy home life where my family held me back from reaching my potential. For instance I was denied opportunities to learn Italian and Yiddish. Another being that I was in a school where I was not only thriving but was ahead. My parents switched my schools and I was put into a position where the school pushed me down at every turn. I will be making sure that my son will have every possibility offered him.
