Broken Heart Fixed in 3 Hours ETA Results

Posted by   + Show Post
I posted a couple times about my LO's open heart surgery to repair a hole. It's at 8am EST today. I'm so glad she will be better, but last night I could barely let my husband take her from me to let me eat dinner. I'm definitely going to have a hard time handing her to relative strangers for this. Just praying that ll goes well so she can get on with the important business of growing up happy and healthy. Thanks for letting me unload, and I will update if anyone is interested when she's in recovery. Also, do me a favor and hug your babies a little tighter today.

Edit********

I had to let my husband do the hand off. I just couldn't. But the surgery went well without complications. She's in the PICU now, and we can see her in about an hour.

Good luck. My sister had same surgery when she was 5 years old. She recovered very well and quickly. She is now 42 years old and healthy as can be.
