My son was 3 months early and was poked daily and got infections and had a rough go so when you tell me you want a preemie I feel like your telling me you want your baby to suffer or you dont care if they survive it is one of my hot buttons

Who the heck says that! They must be clueless as to what goes on!

Who said they want a preemie? I had a micro-preemie that didn't live but for a few hours. It was horrible. I also had a preemie (6 weeks early) that spent 3 weeks in the NICU. It was no fun. I can't imagine why anyone would hope for their baby to be premature.

I've never heard anyone say that. I'd wonder about their mental capabilities if someone said that.

Why would anyone WANT a preemie? It's horrible to have to leave your baby behind in the hospital for weeks/months and not being sure your baby will be ok or not.

I've never heard someone say they wanted a premie. I have heard many women complaining that they want their baby out NOW even though the baby isn't ready and I don't think those women truly want a premie baby they are just frustrated and ready to give birth.

Amen. Mine was 8 weeks early and was poked and prodded as well. No child should have to go through that.
